  • “There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.” Ernest Hemingway
  • “And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.” Sylvia Plath, The Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plath

The writing club offers a precious opportunity for ALC students to burnish their writing skills. This skill, compared to other skills, is arguably the most laborious.

With this in mind, the club’s main ambition is ,on the one and, to turn that  intense feeling of struggle that students undergo when they put  pen to paper into a  gratifying and pleasant experience; and on the other hand, to boost their confidence in order to communicate effectively and efficiently their ideas through their paragraphs , stories, poems…etc.

It is worth mentioning that this year the club is considering creating a magazine that will exhibit our students’ writing products.

If you are an Intermediate or Advanced student, you are welcome to join us.
