We are a community service club created a few years ago at the American Language Center of Tangier. Our club’s main objective is to create educational and sustainable projects and activities and reach out and serve many, and hopefully in the future, all segments of our local community. Lyed F Lyed squad is made up of devoted and committed students from the ALC and other institutions and also ALC teachers who are there to facilitate our club’s work with their coordination and supervision.
Our projects
Reading Buddies is one of our educational projects. It focuses on helping under-achieved readers at local public primary schools improve their reading skills using different methods and activities.
Creative Minds, our club has been able to set up libraries at several primary schools which is now acting as a home to different activities. Creative Minds’ activities include soft skills training, science experiments and so on.
English For All is a project Lyed F Lyed members created in order to provide opportunities to under-acheived middle school students and especially ninth graders to improve and develop their English language skills.
Our other activities include beach clean-up, visiting orphanages and senior citizens’ home. In addition to that, our club’s members like to get involved and participate in many educational activities with other associations which allow them to help as well as to learn new skills such as Leadership, public speaking and program management.

Lyed F Lyed aims to provide the safest learning environment for the underprivileged students of Tangier and develop the soft skills of its members.
- Assist our members in developing their leadership skills in order to be involved in their communities’ issues.
- Assist in Volunteering Works activation in communities.
- Stimulate the consciousness of the importance of volunteer work for people in the communities with the performance of our active members.
- Create more educational project and activities to work on improving the quality education in Tangier and why not other sustainable development goals.
