On July 18th, the US Department of State brought West Texas cover band VOCAL TRASH to ALC Tangier to speak about environmental awareness.
The group used found objects – trash – to create a unique percussive and a capella sound, promoting a cleaner, more peaceful planet. ALC students got into the act, learning a few dance steps and displaying their own rhythmic skills on trashcans and plastic bottles. Many thanks to the US Embassy team for making this fun and inspiring event possible!
VOCAL TRASH also visited and performed at “Assadaka” association the following day.
